another day...

today i begin my 21st year of life. another year to love God and serve Him, to do His will. the day itself hasn't got much meaning or importance for me. it's funny, but i almost wish i could go through the day and not think about it. it wasn't a big deal. i used to wish people would care, but i grew out of it. i don't know; it just doesn't seem so important when i think about it. all is in God's hands, however. if He wants me to enjoy it, then i will. i predict that no matter what weather it is tomorrow, i will declare it beautiful, and rejoice in the day the Lord has made. because, now that i think about it... He made me for a purpose, He wants me to be alive, and my birthday is a vivid reminder to be thankful for all that He has given me, and all that He has done.
