what? they're both bird related...
i went hiking to Buzzard Point with David today and some other people... i never realized how hellish those boots are. i got some massive blisters, large enough to fill the heels of my shoes with blood. that was i sight i never wish to observe again. slid down the hill, nearly lost my cell phone (which, if you talk to me personally, is a beautiful but nearly traumatic example of God's sense of humor), cut my leg on a rock, got some amazing bruises, hurt my knee (again!!! stupid... right now it's swollen to twice the size of my other one), nearly drowned in Laurel Creek... and wow it was fun!
came back and took a shower; the most glorious thing in the universe. praise God for whoever invented them... watched a movie with some friends, hung out for a while til Ben came back, then we went to Bimbo's, came back, chilled...
and now my left knee is swollen to twice its normal size, i won't be able to wear shoes for at least a week, and i'm pretty sure Buzzard's Point is off-limits until the water goes down.
my heart is still sore; i made an extremely painful decision last night that i hated making. it was my own fault that i had to make it; i hurt a dear friend and probably in the course of things before i chose to end the friendship, i had caused some strain in other friendships for them. for that i am sorry as well. while i've stopped crying in public, and i am glad i have friends and "brothers" to watch out for me, it still hurts and it probably will for a while. i am giving it to God; it's about the only thing i can do now.
Till, don't let me forget to check my cookie stuff to make sure i don't need anything before i make them...
